I was born, raised and went to school (including university) in Athens, Greece, where I lived for 27 years. I studied Musicology at the University of Athens (BA). I took 6 years of ancient Greek, 2 years of Latin, intensive courses in Greek literature, poetry, philosophy, rhetoric, and history, in accordance with the rigorous curriculum of secondary education, designed by the Greek Ministry of Education in the early 2000s. I first taught Greek as a heritage language at the Cathedral Greek School of Boston, Brookline, MA (2015-16) and continued teaching during my PhD at Northwestern University in Chicago. For the past 10 years, I have taught Greek to students from 3 to 70 years of age, of all nationalities, backgrounds and from all walks of life. I am wholeheartedly dedicated to my students and it is my pleasure to be part of your learning journey!
