I am a published author and collaborator writing professionally in multiple spheres (please see www.aliceatalanta.com). Teaching writing is my passion, and I love to help develop other writers and readers - from children to adults. I have a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and Literary Theory from UPENN, an M.A. in Italian Language and Literature from UVA, and a B.A. with Distinction from UVA in English and Italian. I've taught at UVA, UPENN, private middle schools and high schools, government agencies, and professional companies. My projects have run the gamut from tutoring children to writing communications for high ranking military officials, and everything in between. At the end of the day, it is all for the love of the written word and its ability to connect people throughout space and time.
