Is it worth it to spend more money to study abroad where I really want to go to or save money by going somewhere further down on my travel list?

In my opinion, experiences are more valuable than money. It's something you can look back on and keep memories from it forever. It also helps you grow as a person. If it doesn't put you back too much financially, I would go study abroad where you really want to.
Studying abroad is probably one of the only chances that you'll have to spend an extended amount of time in a certain city and to really immerse yourself in daily life there, so I think that as long as the cost is still feasible, it would be worth the extra money to go to your top choice.
It entirely depends on your situation. Personally, I was able to take a once in a lifetime study abroad that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise. that being said, some programs aren't like that. So take a look at what the school is offering and do some price and experience comparisons and you'll have your answer!
Go where you really want to go or you'll always feel like you missed out. You only live once, so you might as well spend your time (and money) doing what you actually want to do.
