Genuinely the worst professor I've ever seen. * Does not grade to the rubric * Does not post a syllabus * Extremely poor English skills, on the level of Yahoo answers. I am 100% certain he would not pass a freshman English class. * Bad with technology to a crippling degree. Of the quizzes he assigned, literally every single one had at least one "problem that is not scoring correctly" - problem where it marked correct answers as wrong. He said he would 'fix it at the end of the semester' - he did not. * Wanted students to paste screenshots of text in a Word document, and attach it to the text input field of the answer. So to clarify - instead of typing your answer into the answer field, he wanted you to; 1. Type your text somewhere 2. Screenshot it 3. Paste the screenshot of TEXT into a word document 4. Attach the word document to the answer field This is for a programming class. Then, he marked it incorrect for almost the entire class because he didn't know how to open attachments. Which he specifically requested. * Possibly illiterate, or definitely not able to read fluently. He frequently misinterpreted the answer. Let me give you an example; Question: 2+2 = ? Answer (multiple choice): a) 4 b) 11 c) 15 d) epsilon You're thinking you'll say "a"? Good news, he just marked you wrong because - I'm *copying and pasting* - "you should use the symbols button if you need to type symbol like alpha symbol, different from a" * Gets angry if you ask any question - even if it's because he skipped a whole segment. Honestly a lot of this would make sense if it turned out he was suffering from dementia. |
