Dr. Cook is one of the most caring, knowledgeable and interesting profs I have had at CSU. I would definitely rank him as #1 in the "cares about his students and cares that they learn the material" category. His lectures are interesting, full of practical marketing information, includes a lot of illustrations from his experience and other sources to drive home his points. When I started his marketing class (MKT305), I had basically no interest in marketing. Due almost completely to Dr. Cook, I am absolutely fascinated by it! I never realized how much psychology, art, history and other disciplines, besides business, played a role in marketing. Dr. Cook certainly does and it comes out in how easily he can draw from those disciplines to make his points. What else can I say? Dr. Cook is a brilliant man and really teaches, instead of read PowerPoint slides to us - which is something I get really tired of. |
