I recently completed my first semester at Pellissippi State Community College. It’s been decades since I’ve been in a classroom. One of my classes was ENG 1010. My professor was Alex Fitzner. Professor Fitzner is a terrific teacher. From day one he engaged with the students and really went out of his way to make the class enjoyable and interesting. I personally think that Fitzner is a great example of what a teacher should be. Pellissippi should be applauded for having a teacher of his caliber at their university. If I would have had teachers like Professor Fitzner, I would have stayed in school. His method of teaching is designed to actually make students better people, not just get them through the course. He’s a good man. |
