Toni is an amazing teacher and has so much knowledge to share with us students. She is extremely good at pushing us and to motivate us to trust ourself. Overall super good, would recommend everyone to take one of her classes.

Toni is such an amazing, passionate teacher! She is exceptional in her knowledge as well as how much she cares that her students are performing well. She pays extreme close attention to detail and is so accessible for students to ask questions! Her Core 3 class is amazing and I highly recommend everyone at Berkeley get a chance to take one of her classes!

Very good instructor! She is definitely an expert knowing a lot about core-training and Yoga. She can always deliver the content of the course clearly and answer your question about exercising techniques. She is really helpful and taking her class definitely bring a better living mode to me: I can feel that I am making progresses by completing more and more challenging drills ,and my mind tounghness is also improved!

I wish this class was three times a week and not just two. I really enjoyed the course. Challenging but absolutely worth it. I felt a difference in the second half of the semester. The professor is very knowledgeable and always happy to talk about any questions you may have about nutrition and fitness. I recommend this class :) Commit and you will see results!

Professor Mar is an extremely passionate teacher! The lessons are tough, but you're expected to go at an achievable pace with the major goal being improvement. Professor Mar does an excellent job at keeping each meeting engaging and encourages an interesting, ambitious, and inspiring lifestyle. Always a pleasure taking a class with her.

Toni is an amazing instructor!! She definitely pushes her students, but she is supportive and encouraging. She makes you want to challenge yourself in the best way. I have taken multiple of her classes in both yoga and core/strength training and have loved all of them. I always see significant progress in myself throughout the semester, and I am excited to take yet another course of hers. Strongly recommend!

As a visually impaired person this class was easy to follow and the instructions were clear. It was challenging and Coach Mar did a great job encouraging the class and I always felt great afterwards even when experiencing drama in my personal life.

Toni does an amazing job at motivating you and to strive for improvement! She is serious, but it also makes you really do your best. This class is great if you want to challenge yourself and get some weekly motivation together with others. I had a great time with this class and the possibility to take it both synchronously and asynchronously made it work very well with my schedule.

Extremely responsible and helpful PE instructor! I've been taking her classes four times during my college life. I took core conditioning with her and she teaches all the fundamentals about the body, muscle groups, and the rationale behind each movement of drills, so that the students can really understand what they are doing and why they are doing so, what achievement could be made and how injuries should be prevented. The students can then assess both their own physical ability and an instructor based on what they've learned from the class. She also teaches about nutrition and rest, which not only boosts the effects of the physical training but is helpful in establishing a healthy lifestyle. She also pays attention to the mindfulness during the training, which is as paramount as the physical movement itself(she also teaches yoga and mindfulness classes as well). I feel really encouraged and appreciated about this both within and outside the class. It's also true that she's a very rigorous teacher about students' performance and attitude towards the class. But she's really nice and does care about students' progress and concerns. Don't take her if you're not serious because she really is. If you're serious enough, there's so many you can take away.

I absolutely love Professor Mar's classes. She puts in so much effort to educating students about proper nutrition and stress management. All of her methods have definitely helped drastically increase my emotional wellbeing.

Toni is a great coach, she is always providing feedback and re-explaining if necessary so that everybody does the poses correctly. She always highlights the importance of good posture and alignment. She wants you to learn, improve your flexibility, strength, and endurance and avoid injuries!. She also covers nutrition and recovery and is always interested in the intersection of our mind/body with reflections on our day-to-day life. I will definitely take more classes with Toni until I finish my degree.
