Dreamweaver Skills
Nice Professor
Cons: Takes Roll
Group Project
The class is interesting and learning how to build a website is cool skill to have, but as I am not a TOM or EBZ I wish I did not take this class. This class takes of so much time from the 15 page (single spaced) group paper to building a website I just felt like I was committing too much time for it no to be my major. One thing I do like about the professor is she give great critiques for group presentation, which I guess could be embarrassing for some but it does help you see how you come off to people
Clearly explains material
Cons: Timed exams.
I took her hybrid class and found this class was actually pretty fun, she shows a quick video at the start of every class and only has us do group activities once for the "face game" which is a simple assembly line illustration. The math wasn't too difficult since she goes over it all the time and the exams are pretty similar to the homework. She gives out a max of 10 extra credit points for participation.
The only thing to be careful with is the timed exam, just make sure you have your notes and book with you, have your homework examples near by for reference and keep tabs in your book or in a word document so you can reference thins quickly. The exam itself isn't too bad as long as you study the material. I got an A in the class.
Cons: -None
Great professor especially for a TOM instructor because I hear the majority of TOM professors are hard and terrible.
She is very nice and gives out the opportunity to make extra credit.
She gives out max 10 extra credit where 5 points each go towards one exam and there are two exams.
The extra credit is 12.5% grade boost so its worth to do the participation points (extra credit).
Homework is easy and she drops the 2 lowest one.
Overall, really easy because its open book test. There's a strategy to take advantage of the open book test because it makes it super easy for the test and you will always get 30/40 for sure using this strategy, but YOU will have to find out yourself ;). HINT: USE TECHNOLOGY
Take her!! SHE IS BEST TOM 301 PROFESSOR!!!! Easy Easy!
-Participation Points (Max. 10)
-2 Online tests (Open Book)
-Study Guide
Cons: none
Great Professor. Meet only once per week. 1 Midterm and 1 Final both open book & online. She assigns homework each week but she drops 2 lowest scored ones. Her assignments weren't hard if you pay attention in class and write the formulas down. Pay CLOSE attention to the math formulas. The concepts and definitions are in the book. When you do the homework, you can just look @ what you wrote in your notes and the practice. The assignments will be a breeze. She also gives out free points in the homework. EX) Click Yes for .5 points. I suggest attending all her classes to get the max 10 participation points. You can answer her questions or sometimes she tells you to fill out equations on the board to get the points. I almost skipped one class but I went anyways and she gave out easy points. So i was lucky I didn't skip that class. 5 points will be assigned to the midterm and another 5 to the final. 40 questions for each exam so you get 12.5% boost. Grade received: A
Tips:
-Assignments were straight forward. Be sure to write down the formulas she teaches in class.
-Get as much participation points as you can. Maximum is 10.
-you have 1 hr 30 mins to finish the 2 exams. Look @ her study guide. She tells you what sections to skip for certain chapters.
Probably the best Tom professor.
Online finals
Online homework
Cons: NONE!
well her accent, but I didnt mind it!
THIS WOMAN IS AN AMAZING TEACHER!
I was in her hybrid class, it met once a week on Tuesday mornings.
Class was very fun and very easy! She gave extra credit every time you would participate in class!
THE TEXT BOOK IS AMAZING! Its such an easy read and it actually made me interested in what operation management is!
I got easy 98% on midterms and 95% on final.
How? I read the book the day before, its online but you can't google the questions. So read it right before, take notes on where everything is at, I would make a paper that had key words in ABC order for each chapter, and test was instantly that much easier!!
She really wants her students to do well, and she is very nice!
TAKE HER!
Cons: None
She is really nice, has a bit of an accent, but nothing you can't understand. She always shows funny videos before class and you only meet one of two sessions a week. I can't believe this is a college class! She makes it so easy to not get an A in this class. Extra credit for participation, drops two out of nine homework assignments and the tests are online. Although the tests are open book, open note it is more difficult than it sounds. If you get anything less than an A you should re evaluate your college education status. Take her!

Xu is very passionate about TOM/EBZ. You learn a lot from her, especially from this class. There are two test ( excel modeling and multiple choice online exam ). The excel modeling was quite simple and easy, she let you retake it if you are not satisfied with your first grade. The multiple choice exam is based on all the quizzes and book( it is based on 4 chapter.). If you have e-book is going to help tremendously in all her quizzes, just have to search the key word of the question. P.S: she will drop 2 of the lowest quizzes score. Last thing...there is a group project about analyzing company supply chain..
Grade receive A
Cons: heavy accent, lots of reading
Great teacher! Loved her! Very straight forward. You know exacatly what to expect. Short 10 minute, 6 question quizes online once a week, a few online homework assignments, and 2 open book, open note exams. Exams are long and hard, but if you have printed the powerpoints, taken good class notes on the powerpoints, printed out the quizes and homework assignments after taking them, and underlined a lot in your book, they are easy. Her accent is a little tough to understand, but after a while you get it. Got an A.
Overall the class was pretty easy.Just pay attention to her powerpoints, take good notes, and you'll do fine.Great teacher,i definitely recommend taking this class. Grade Received: A-
