Dual Student Focused, meaning college student and the student we teach in pre-K to post grad. Great ethical examples often overlooked in a world of meeting performance, rubric requirements. Dr. Kidd is simply a natural educator with the almost innate ability to braid her gift of understanding the many behaviors, accepted and otherwise undesirable, and how to work with those involved to assist the student and ensure the most effective solution based upon the whole child’s individual preferences, or as I refer to them, naturally assimilated knowledge from birth to present, focusing upon from birth, the subject’s culture, socioeconomic status, at risk status, social environment, psychological and physiological well being. Dr. Kidd has an uncanny gift which allows her to literally braid that information with empirical case study and develop an action plans, complete with an evaluation tool, allowing modification ans progress as necessary for uninterrupted student growth. Finally, Dr. Kiddo’s personality and genuine desire for each of us to recognize our strengths and become lifelong consumers of knowledge that will allow us to be the best listener, have an open mind to all ideas and respectful of all opinions, but as a teacher or instructor model respectful tact to include the facts, without degrading the level of facts. Making certain as teachers and leaders we successfully address or explaining both sides of even the most diverse topics and sharing opinions. |
