Stupid and arrogant. The first day of class, Diane spoke badly of students in another class she was teaching. Later on in the semester, she would ridicule and demean students infront of other students. |

Diane Jeske is a great instructor. She knows the material and won't hesitate to meet with you to review theories or revise your assigned papers. She lectures very specifically to the reading; it is very important to do the assignments she gives so you know what she is talking about in class. The material in this class is very complicated and deserves intense attention. I went into this course with no background in politics or philosophy; I would recommend taking a course to prepare for this if you are in the same situation as I was. Although it says it is an Introductory course, it is very difficult and requires lots of work. Maybe if I'd had a little background on it first it would have gone better for me. Good luck if you take it :) |
