Investing in Key Work Clothing Items - Internship Edition

If Banana Republic wasn’t already your go-to store to buy work clothes, it should be. Although the clothing falls on the more expensive side (especially for a college student’s budget), the quality is hard to beat. Think of it as a long-term investment– in the end, it will save you more money and you’ll look fabulous.  Here are the two key articles of clothing to invest in for your summer internship:

Blazers:

A perfectly tailored blazer completely brings a look together. For the summer, look for linens. The material won’t weigh you down during the commute, but gives the look enough structure without looking sloppy. After you find that one navy perfect blazer, you’ll never need another one. Of course, color options are nice, but that blazer will become a staple in your wardrobe.
