Finding Workouts for the Swimsuit Season
It’s that time of year again: the time where laziness takes over and spring break and summer seem to be the only things on our minds. So for those of us that are checked out and ready to work on our bathing-suit image, here are three ways to look for workouts that fit into our busy schedules.
1. Pinterest: This is probably the best location to research workout ideas, as they have an entire page dedicated to health and fitness. There are so many different workout options that vary in length– some require equipment and some don’t– that each individual person should have no problem fitting them into their schedules. There is a workout for those with little to no time; workouts for those who simply want abs; workouts for people that have restricted space, etc. Plus, the site also typically puts out healthy eating ideas, which is a great way to diet, without necessarily being on one.
2. Magazine: Many magazines have a health and fitness section in them as well. Of course, you could also go as far as picking up a Men’s or Women’s Health Magazine as well, either way it’s up to you. Seventeen magazine has an online health and fitness tab where they will supply workout and better eating ideas every once in a while, and these are well worth checking out. Although you made not be an avid reader, checking in with these tips every once in a while can’t hurt.
3. Google: This may seem like the obvious answer, but not everyone thinks to research workout ideas. The truth is, the internet is full of them, and not every single one requires expensive and unattainable equipment. Of course there is always the option of going to the local gym, but especially during the winter months this is a hassle, and so looking into ideas you can do on your own time through Google is simple and easy, and will get you the answers that you need to start living healthy.
Of course, there are many more ways to find workouts that fit into your schedule, and I encourage you to go out and find them. Plus, let’s be honest, swimsuit season is drawing in quickly… who wouldn’t want to look good? So go get that workout in while you’ve still got time!
