Where do you Plan to Go for Spring Break 2013?

By Alyssa Palmer on February 17, 2013

It’s that time of year again; time to plan the perfect spring break. I have been wondering where people are going this year and the Bahamas seem to be the most frequent answer. However, those of us either too lazy to get our passports or do not want to spend the money on it right now, I have complied a list of college friendly hot spots for spring break 2013 located both in the United States and outside.

Panama City Beach, FL
This is a very common hot spot that never fails to entertain. Several college students from all over the nation are travelling their way over to Panama City Beach for the atmosphere, parties, and concerts. The easiest way to plan the whole week there would be to buy a package from several online promoters. Most include a six night stay at a hotel and a pass to all activities that are occurring on the beach.

Colorado
Who says spring break is all about the beach or casinos? The last hot spot I have for you is Colorado. Research shows skiing and snowboarding are very popular attractions during spring break. If you missed your chance to ski or snowboard this winter, it is not too late to travel to Colorado for college parties and snow fun.

Mexico
Whether you want to go to Cabo or Cancun, both are great destinations for incredible party scenes and television recognition since MTV is known to make several appearances. These tend to be more expensive since you have to fly internationally, but they are a guaranteed good time. A cheaper way of partying in Mexico would consist of going on a cruise. Lots of college students book these as well.

Bahamas
Speaking of taking a cruise for spring break, the most common cruise this time of year will be headed to the Bahamas. “Booze cruises” are very common during spring break. These are definitely some of the cheaper alternatives for spring break, since the Bahamas cruises offer two to seven day cruises varying in price. The Bahamas will undeniably be an amazing place for college students to set sail for spring break.

Las Vegas, NV
For those of you not interested in the beach scene for spring break, this is a huge spring break spot for those who prefer casinos and crazy partying. Instead of being on a beach, you have amazing parties awaiting you at different night clubs where you will probably spot some celebrities. These packages tend to be more expensive than the beach ones but that does not mean they aren’t just as fun.
