Designer Fashion for All

When it comes to fashion and clothing there are two things that people can’t get enough of: 1) sales, and 2) designer pieces. Whether you beeline to the clearance sections or dillydally leisurely in Bergdorf Goodman, no one loves designer collections on sale more than college students. Because we so dutifully surrender a buttload of money to earn a degree, we don’t really have a buttload of money to spare. But in what planetary universe would we ever want to stop shopping? (Like, who does that?) So in the end we scour the internet for really good sales (and splurge a little sometimes) to get what we want without having to wait for Christmakkuh.

But alas! The fashion gods have answered our prayers and have granted us the privilege of experiencing the new Prabal Gurung collaboration with Target!!! For those of you who comprehend that Nepalese jumble of sounds, you should either be jumping up and down in joy or reading on because you’re a fashionista and you obviously knew about one of the greatest collaborations of all time. But for those of you who have no idea who Prabal Gurung is or what he does, here are some pictures from the campaign lookbook:

If you have not already developed an emotional obligation to indulge yourselves, then that needs to be fixed. This new collaboration features more than 80 pieces, all designed by the Nepalese wonder himself, and aside from that gorgeous blue leather jacket, most items come in under $50 which is a STEAL compared to $1,000 tops. The collection comes out in stores and online at Target.com on Sunday February 10, so get on your phones and on line at Target stores in the wee hours of the morning because I’m betting that it’s going to be entirely sold out in no more than 3 days.
