Pretty Goes With Everything

Ever since I started working for Aerie, I have developed an unhealthy lingerie obsession. The amount of bras and undies that I own is borderline absurd and a little embarrassing, but I don’t care. I just love the way lingerie looks and how it makes me feel when I rip off the tags and slip into my new garments. It may seem silly to spend so much time (and money) on garments that no one will see (unless you want them to), but I beg to differ. When I wear cute undies it gives me an extra boost of confidence and I feel 10 times sassier and invincible.

I put together a few “looks”, everything is from Aerie. I am a little biased, since I work for Aerie.

Pretty in Pink: The bra featured is Harper, she has the “perkiest” lift and is made of memory foam; so she warms to your body to give you a custom fit. She is super comfortable and a great everyday tee shirt bra. Harper is paired with this super adorable mesh polka dotted thong to add some sexy to this girly look.

Flower Power: Scarlet is her name and she is by far my favorite push up bra, ever. She features an adjustable lift. There are three little hooks located in the gore (the front part of the bra in between the cups) where you can change the amount of lift that you want. The lifts she offers ranges from “perkier” to “woah”, with Scarlet you can literally have it your way! Not to mention she has removable air pockets in case you want to take out some of your extra boost. For the undies, I paired Scarlet with a direct match back (an undie specifically made to go with the bra). The flower detail is small enough on the undies that it will not make your ensemble too “matchy matchy,” but offers just enough detail.

She sells Seashells: Hailey is my favorite lightly lined bra. She is made from the same memory foam fabric that Harper is, except she has no padding. The cool thing about Hailey is that even though she doesn’t have padding, she still offers lift, just more natural. She also converts to a crossback (or racerback) and offers a deep plunge. Hailey is paired with a cotton boy brief with little seashell prints on them.

Secret Garden: Ella is a super soft, lightly lined, demi coverage bra. Her straps are set further apart so she offers a lift without any padding just like Hailey. She is also seamless and has a ballet back, so no slipping of the straps with this beauty. Ella is paired with a floral printed girly brief (girl briefs offer coverage that’s in between a boy brief and a tanga).

Mesh Diva: This completely mesh ensemble is probably the sexiest out of all the looks. It obviously is completely mesh, which means your lady parts are covered with the sheerest of fabrics. There is something liberating about wearing these super sheer garments! The bra offers no lining whatsoever, so your girls are pretty much “free”, they are contained within the cups but no lining means that everyone will know when you are cold. The mesh is super comfortable and I would recommend this bra for daredevils, the girls who don’t really like wearing bras, as well as, a good bra for sleeping in.
