Whether it’s sports, writing, religion, or service groups that interst you, Eckerd has the club to fit your needs. With a plethora of options, there is surely a campus organization to suit your fancy. Here is a list of a few clubs and organizations you can join to enhance your college experience:

EC Swing Dance Club Want to learn how to throw your partner around in an elegant sequence of twirls and lifts? Swing Dance Club is the place for you. From it’s online description, “Through lessons, local area dance nights, and special dance events; the EC swing club provides a chance for all Eckerd College students…” There you have it. EC Longboarding Club Into sailing around campus on 4 wheels? This club is for you. Meet like minded people ready to help you hone in on your skills and embark on adventures on and off campus. You can contact Eliot Mooiweer for more information.

Afro-American Society Straight from it’s online description: “The objective of the Afro-American Society is to establish and maintain communication between all students of Eckerd College so as to alleviate undue tension and misunderstanding. The Afro-American Society will enable students to act as an effective force to combat racism.” If this sounds like you, feel free to contact Tiandra King to join.

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship If you are looking for a group on like-minded Christian students, this is the group for you. Join your fellow Christians in love and service with the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Contact Amy Leone for more info.
