Graduate and Professional School Fair
Wondering about what to do after you graduate Cal Poly Pomona? Are you possibly thinking about going off to graduate school but you’re not quite sure what path to take? Attend the Graduate and Professional School Fair on Campus to get some ideas.
Not everyone knows exactly what to do after they receive their undergraduate degree. The majority of students are stuck between entering the job force right after graduation and continuing their education at the graduate level. It’s often a stressful time, considering these students are deciding their next big step in life, but it doesn’t have to be as stressful as people make it out to be.
The Career Center will be hosting the Graduate and Professional School Fair in the University Quad this Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students can meet informally with graduate program admissions officers from more than 80 schools and learn about admissions criteria, curriculum and educational opportunities.
Use the time and these allotted resources on campus to help you decide what to do next. Continue asking questions, even after the Graduate and Professional School Fair, through the Career Center on campus, and use the center’s resources to find jobs and get tips for resumes and interviews there as well.
Although Cal poly Pomona’s motto is “learn by doing,” they don’t ever intend to push you off into the deep end without a little help and some beneficial knowledge. Take this extra help while you have access to it and attend this, and all the other related events, offered to you while you’re still walking around here on campus.
Don’t sit by and wait until after graduation to try and figure something out. Start planning ahead now and explore your options without leaving campus. For more information, contact the Career Center at (909) 869-2341 or click here for more information.
