Enter If You Dare- Behind the Gates at Busch Gardens
For many of you, the coming of the fall season means watching the leaves change colors, changing your shorts and flip flops for jeans and boots and rummaging through the candy isles in local stores for the soon coming trick-or-treaters. But fall also means Halloween, and with Halloween comes the anticipated hayrides, pumpkin patches, and of course, haunted houses. This year ECOS- Eckerd College’s Organization of Students sponsored a trip to Busch Gardens for their annual Howl-O-Sream extravaganza; it was definitely a night to remember.
For those of you that watch T.V. or have seen the endless commercials surfacing up every time you go to search a song on YouTube, you’ll be familiar with the suspenseful “Dark Side of the Garden” advertisement Busch Gardens put out this year, complete with vampires, ghouls, and of course eerie music. So what exactly goes on behind the metal gates of Busch Gardens once nightfall hits? That’s for you to find out on your own but in the meantime I’ll give you some insight to get your pulse rushing with adrenaline.
Clowns, vampires, babydolls, chainsaws, zobies and much more. These are just a few of the things you will come across once you enter the well known amusement park for Howl-O-Scream. Complete with fog machines, moving statues and live actors, you won’t have a dull moment while you’re there. Be sure to take a friend… or two along with you, but if you’re feeling brave enough visit one of their main and best selling attractions, the famous “Alone” walk. If you think you’re safe all alone, this haunting and mind boggling haunted house will have you questioning yourself.
Busch Gardens offers tons of discounts, especially for groups of people who want to go for Howl-O-Scream so gather up some friends or make it a family outing and go have fun!! It’s a sure fire way to put you in the Halloween mood!
