3 Delicious Treats You'll Never Find On Your Own

By Brittany Tai on September 17, 2012

Whenever I stumble upon good snacks or treats, I feel like Leo D. in Titanic, the “I’m on top of the world!” kind of feeling. That’s how excited I get. It also humbles me, because I realize that I don’t know everything about food and that there’s so much more to look forward to!

Anyway, for the avid food lovers and the unadventurous, I hope this post will introduce you to your next legal addiction. And then, you can thank me later. Here it goes:

Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle

Sheila G Brownie Brittle

Finally, a crunchy brownie. A really crunchy brownie. These little chocolate chip-infused treats are brownies, brittle and chips all into one! With the taste of a chocolaty brownie, the crunch of a successful brittle and the size of a chip, this snack is perfect for anytime you’re not getting dental work done. Sheila G’s apparently is something new on the market and it just came out earlier this year and it’s already known as the “Best Kept Secret.” I’m not sure if local supermarket stores sell them, but I definitely know for sure wholesale stores, like Costco, have them readily available. I just bought my first bag yesterday and I think I need to go back again to get another. They’re so addicting and delicious! They’re also made from natural ingredients, so the guilt isn’t too heavy when eating these.

Beer Chips

Imagine kettle corn, turned into a potato chip. This sweet and salty chip is anything less than ordinary. Made with real beer, this chip can be consumed in large amounts and it won’t impair your driving or seeing. It can also be eaten by ages 20 and under. I do have to admit, the nutritional value need not to be mentioned because there isn’t any. But, you would definitely be missing something if you didn’t try these. YUM!

Dark Chocolate Pomegranate

Something healthy and delicious all in one. They’re bite-sized, chocolaty and sweet. What more can you ask for?! Not many people have really tasted pomegranate, I know I haven’t. Trying to eat the little  seeds doesn’t give you much flavor, but with these babies you can get a mouth full of pomegranate explosion. The chocolate also enhances that flavor. I eat these whenever I’m craving something sweet, but not too heavy. I also like to put mine in the refrigerator and then eat them while they’re cold. It prevents the chocolate from melting creating messy fingers.

All 3 are definitely a must try and you won’t regret it! I do have to give credit to my boyfriend, Marc, since he’s been the one providing all of these delicious treats for me. He works at Costco and you can imagine all the goodies he brings home. We love Costco.

Okay, it’s later. You can thank me now.
