20 Things to do in a Grocery Store Besides Buying Groceries

Have you ever experienced boredom that seemed to reach an entire new level and you didn't know what to do? I'm sure we all have. Find the nearest grocery store, and get rid of the boredom by completing random and pointless tasks to make the day pass quicker. Bring a friend; the more the merrier. If misery loves company, I'm sure boredom wouldn't mind either. Here are 20 things you can do in a grocery store besides actually spending your money on groceries.

1. Find a chair, and read a magazine.

2. Check your blood pressure in the pharmacy department.

3. Find free food samples, and eat the free samples.

4. Go on a coupon scavenger hunt.

5. Apply for a job at the grocery store.

6. Ask to speak to the manager, and insist that he or she hires you.

7. Have a heated discussion with the manager insisting that Walmart is better.

8. Ride around in the handicap accessible motor shopping carts.

9. Find a water fountain, and fill up on the free water.

10. Fill a shopping cart with frozen goods, and just leave it there.

11. Have a "buggy" race with a friend.

12. Find a scale, and weigh yourself.

13.  Find a patio chair and some sunglasses, and lay back for a relaxing nap.

14.  Find more free food samples.

15. Pretend to work in the store, and ask random customers if they need help with anything.

16. Take a bathroom break.

17. Find a bunch of cooker timers, set them to go off at the same time, and run!

18. "Borrow" some grapes from the fruit section.

19. Ask to have a special cake designed. When finished, complain that it wasn't done right, and don't pay for it.

20.  Ask a cute guy or girl standing cereal isle on a date.

After completing these pointless and absurd tasks, ask your self one question, "What are you doing with your life?"
