Top 10 Lindt Truffle Flavors Ranked

By Marina Krivonossova on December 21, 2022

It’s no secret that chocolate is universally accepted as one of the most delicious and popular treats in existence. It can be smooth, creamy, rich, and sweet; it can be mixed with fruits, nuts, and almost anything else you can think of. And as a true chocolate connoisseur, I’ve tried almost every imaginable brand out there, and I’ll be honest: I find Lindt truffles to always be an absolute hit. But, in the name of honesty, I can also tell you that not every Lindt truffle flavor is created equal. That’s why I’ve gone ahead and made your life easier: by sampling all the Lindt truffles I could possibly find, and sharing with you the top 10 Lindt truffle flavors ranked. Now, you can save your time and money by only buying the best of the best!

1. Classic Dark. I’d argue that this classic Lindt truffle flavor is the best out there. Not too bitter and not too sweet, this truffle is as balanced as they get. I’m not even ashamed to say that I’ve eaten eight of these in a row with no regret – that’s how amazing they are!

2. Classic White. Another Lindt classic, their original white truffles are a true delicacy. The creamy center is unmatched, and the simplicity of this candy is the key to its greatness.

3. Candy Cane White. I was skeptical about these at first when my colleagues shared them with me many years ago, but I immediately fell in love with the white chocolate candy cane Lindt truffles. They’re the ultimate adult way to enjoy a candy cane alongside your evening tea (but, let’s be real: you can enjoy them just as well any time, anywhere!)

4. Stracciatella White. Yes, another white chocolate truffle made it to the top of the list. Would you believe me if I told you that white chocolate isn’t even my favorite type of chocolate? Yep, I’m more of a dark chocolate type of person! But Lindt takes white chocolate to a whole new level, especially in its stracciatella truffle. The smooth white chocolate with the dark chocolate specs is really what makes this candy unique and wonderful.

5. 60% Cacao Dark. Yep, there’s that dark chocolate I told you about. And while the classic dark chocolate Lindt truffle is higher up on my list, the 60% cacao is pretty awesome, too. It’s a tad more bitter than its classic counterpart, but it’s balanced rather perfectly with a rich creaminess and subtle sweetness.

6. Pistachio Milk. As someone who doesn’t quite care for milk chocolate, I was surprised when this Lindt truffle flavor caught my attention. It’s subtly nutty, and it matches perfectly with the mild milk chocolate flavor of its exterior.

7. Hazelnut Milk. Another milk chocolate truffle that I really enjoyed, the hazelnut Lindt truffle is made delicious by the crunchy bits within its core.

8. Salted Caramel Milk. If I could pick one word to describe this truffle, it would be ‘smooth’. The flavor, the experience, all of it. The salted caramel and chocolate combination is one that’s easily ruined by adding too much of one thing, and that’s where Lindt excelled once more in proving their dedication to balance in everything they create.

9. Mango White. This truffle really caught me saying “Oh wow!” The mango flavor absolutely pops, and the truffle tastes exactly like it contains real fruit. I couldn’t detect a hint of anything artificial (which is usually my issue with fruit-flavored chocolate), so this truffle has truly become my go-to when I want something fruity and chocolatey.

10. Mint Dark. Last but not least, the mint dark chocolate truffle was a must-have on my list of the top 10 Lindt truffle flavors ranked. Similar to the candy cane white chocolate flavor, this truffle was made amazing by its minty core and evident need to be enjoyed in the evening with a cup of tea by a cozy fireplace.

I hope that if you never tried a Lindt truffle before reading this list, you’re now feeling inspired to give those wonderful chocolates a try. And, if you were already a Lindt enthusiast like myself, this is your sign to try all of these excellent flavors!

But hey, I get it. Lindt isn’t for everyone. Luckily for you, there are plenty of other chocolate brands out there, and I want to share with you the 5 best chocolate brands in the world right here! Full disclosure, Lindt made it on that list as well, but there are still four others that you probably haven’t ever even heard of. Have a chocolatey day ahead, and let me know in the comments what kind of chocolate is your personal favorite.
