University of Idaho Student Club Seeking Extras For Project
The University of Idaho is fortunate enough to have hundreds of student lead organizations and clubs on campus. Most of those clubs are specifically designed to explore interests based on your major. The College of Journalism and Mass Media has many organizations such as the student newspaper, the radio station and the new club, the Film Society Club. All these clubs are geared toward the different fields you can go into within the College of Journalism and Mass Media. They are also all designed to give tangible experience to the students in an effort to land a job after graduation. These clubs have contributed to the amazing rate of job placement after graduation from the university. The new club is no different from the ones already in place.

This club began last year in order to allow students to further explore an interest they may have. The club started around the time the new film studies major was created. This club is the only one of its kind currently on campus. The club is also open to all majors so as long as you have an interest in film, you can join the club. Similar to this project they are currently advertising, you do not need any experience you just need an interest in the topic and there is definitely an interest in this new project.
This week, the members are going around campus trying to recruit for their new video project. They have made various projects throughout their year at the University. These topics have varied from covering university events such as football games and university-wide activities to creative films that students produce themselves. All projects they have produced have been received well by the student body so far.
For this project, the club is seeking actors and extras for their new project. All the information they have given us so far is that it’s a campaign about white t-shirts. The strange and mysterious topic of the project has intrigued many students. The word about this project has spread around campus and students keep talking about it. In two out of my three classes I had today I overheard students talking about how excited and confused they are about the project. With all the talk about this project, I assume this will be another successful project for the club.
The project is taking place at five o’clock this Friday in the kibbie dome. All I know is that if you decide to show up, you will be in for a surprise but also a good time.
