If you think you have an addiction to YouTube, then you’ve come to the right place. YouTube is the most used video-sharing website online. No matter what you’re looking for, YouTube would always provide a video for you. Sometimes those videos would be useful and sometimes they would simply suck.

People use YouTube for a variety of purposes because it simply has it all, from music videos, gaming, cooking tutorials to music lessons, scientific theories, and relaxation videos. But right now, I would like to focus on the humor section of YouTube.

Since YouTube is such an incredible and wide platform, it is hard for me to select the funniest “YouTubers.” We have to take into account that there are a lot of funny people in the world; we just don’t speak their language. That being said let us pay attention to the funniest English speaking “YouTubers.”

1. PewDiePie

Felix Ulf Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, is a Swedish comedian and video producer that has over 50 million subscribers. He is famous for his Let’s Play commentaries and vlogs.

The special thing about DewDiePie is that once you watch one of his videos you immediately like him. His personality and the way he reacts to video games, funny videos, and even his surroundings are hilarious. He is a very open person who likes to joke a lot about controversial topics — always knowing his limits, of course.

If you want to laugh for a little bit and enjoy spontaneous and genuine reactions, go check PewDiePie’s channel right now.

2. Jenna Marbles

This girl is just too much. She could literally sit in front of the camera doing absolutely nothing and you would laugh.

Jenna Marbles has an impressive variety of videos on her channel which make her viewers feel closer to her — she even calls her fans “friends.” Her channel includes videos like challenges, vlogs, make-up tutorials, and Jenna hanging with her dogs (they’re so cute).

Marbles is the kind of YouTuber that shares a big part of her life with others not by telling her actual story, but by recreating real-life situations. Her perspective on these situations is what is going to make you laugh. She is so unpredictably funny that it’s inevitable to avoid laughing.

Go check one of Marbles’ most famous videos, “How To Avoid Talking To People You Don’t Want To Talk To” and you’ll understand what I was saying.

3. NigaHiga

This is one of the most popular comedy channels on YouTube with more than 20 million subscribers. It was created by Ryan Higa and Sean Fujiyoshi.

The boys started their YouTube career posting videos of themselves lip-syncing to famous songs, but as they got more views, they quickly expanded the content of the channel and created a variety of comedic pieces, most of them made and performed by Ryan Higa.

The channel includes song parodies, original how-to guides, and hilarious Q&As. NigaHiga has been in the Top 20 YouTube channels for many years now. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to miss an incredible opportunity to laugh foolishly at random things. Higa is an expert on entertainment.

4. IISuperwomanII

Lilly Singh, aka IISuperwomanII, is a Canadian YouTuber who is probably one of the most creative people on the video-sharing website.

Her channel is, as Forbes magazine describes it, an “entertaining mix of comedy sketches, rants, skits, and occasional activism.”

Singh manages to create content that is not only entertaining and enjoyable to many audiences; it can actually provide positive feedback on many controversial topics like feminism, LGBT activism, religion, and even culture.

Her channel contains humorous skits incorporating real-life situations and how we — the young folks — normally deal with them (Watch “How Girls Get Ready …”). She has two main special characters in her channel, Paramjeet and Manjeet, who are her fictional parents. Both are performed by her only. I swear you are going to love them.

5. Liza Koshy

Koshy started on the short-form video service ‘Vine.’ She had over 5 million followers on the app and she mainly focused on making videos that people would usually relate to. In other words, she recreates the small and sometimes embarrassing moments of our daily lives and makes us find a positive and funny side to them. Twitter’s plan to shut down Vine made Liza create a YouTube account in 2016. She continued with her hilarious content, only this time the videos were longer and made with more effort. Since then she has been gaining more and more subscribers. Nowadays, she has more than 12 million followers on YouTube putting her in the 85th position of the Top 100 most subscribed channels of the platform.

She is characterized by her energetic humor. She is always willing to do the things you think of doing in public places but are embarrassed to do. She doesn’t seem to care about shame at all. Some people might say that she is a little overdramatic, but that is exactly what makes Liza Koshy so special. The fact that she likes to joke around and do foolish things like she’s a little kid is just so refreshing and enjoyable.
