Summer is just around the corner which means it’s time to start thinking about what your summer style will be. I myself, have already been mentally putting outfits together in my head that will represent my chic/casual style. Not all of us are “fashion forward” thinkers though, so, here’s a few simple trendy fashion pieces to give inspiration to those who need it.

Quay x Desi “Sahara” shades collection: We all love shades, especially when they make us look super cool and super chic. Quay Australia and professional makeup artist Desi Perkins, launched these awesome shades that come in three different colors (orange fade, yellow, and olive). Their “Sahara” collection is perfect for summer because of how the colors can easily accessorize with whatever outfit you wear and are oversized frames which are extremely popular and will look good on any face shape.

Graphic tees: Shirts that say something whether positive, vulgar, or funny, have become extremely popular in the fashion world. I personally love a shirt that says something that represents my mood or how I feel about people in general. Graphic tees are defiantly a hot fashion trend and shopping for ones that depict your personality are a fun way to show off your style.

Dad hats: I have never really been into hats until my friend came out with his line of Savage 17′ dad hats. Dad hats have been super trendy lately due to their versatility of being able to work with any outfit you wear and are the definition of clutch when you’re having a bad hair day.

They also usually have a word, catchy phrase, or image in their center to make them pop even more. Denim dad hats, in particular, have been getting all the rave lately and look cute on anyone.

Distressed jeans: Who knew that having cuts in your jeans could look so good. Owning a pair or even making your own distressed jeans, are a must-have in your wardrobe. No matter your shape or size, distressed jeans can look good on anyone. You can pair them with your favorite t-shirt for a super chill casual look or for women, a nice button-up with heels to top it off for a chicer vibe.

Maxi dresses: Nothing says comfort like a flowy dress that has zero body movement restrictions and is also flattering to your figure. Maxi dresses will more than likely always be a summer favorite for women to wear. They come in an array of different styles and designs and look good on any woman. You can wear a cute pair of sandals or heels to compliment your maxi dress style.

Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Low Top shoes: I don’t know anyone who does not own a pair of these classic Converse. I personally own two pairs of them because I adore them and white gets dirty fast! The Converse Chuck Taylor’s are a staple in everyone’s closet. These super comfy low top shoes not only offer great support for your feet but also add instant cool/chic style to any outfit you pair them with.

Style is not defined by how much your clothes cost; it is defined by what you like and look good in. You can put together the most inexpensive outfit and look as if it costs hundreds of dollars. So, find clothing pieces that speak to you and create your own unique summer 17’ fashion style.
