Instagram Accounts You Should Be Following

The best solution to those ‘I have nothing to wear!’ nights? Instagram.

As a busy college student, I often find myself rummaging through my closet last minute, only to find outfits I’ve already worn. Instead of buying a new piece, I often scroll through these four Instagram accounts for fresh inspiration.

•Dylanlex

Dylanlex, created by Drew Ginsburg, is a jewelry brand favorite of fashion girls like Chrissy Teigen, Jasmine Sanders, and Rihanna.

While the price point of this line may be out of range, the vibe is totally doable. Ginsburg’s Instagram account is loaded with full-body mirror pictures that showcase her go-to look — a structured neutral piece with major statement jewelry. Virtually all of her outfits are built around a basic piece (that you probably already have in your closet) and transformed into something high fashion, showcasing her styling expertise and love of accessories.

To channel Ginsburg, pull an oversized white button down off the shoulder and pair it with a chunky silver necklace.

•Saboluxe

This Instagram account is basically just a digital and more aesthetically pleasing version of People StyleWatch.

Sisters Thessy and Yiota, creators of the Australian brands Sabo Skirt and Sabo Luxe, use it to post all the best looks from celebrity style icons. BUT this account also posts pictures of people who are not part of the Kardashian clan or Hadid family, setting it apart from other celebrity fashion sites.

Yes, this account belongs to that one girl from that one show… (Rich Kids of Beverly Hills on E!)

Although it may be difficult to take her show seriously, Sowlaty’s style is extremely polished and well thought-out. As an interior designer, she has mastered one of the most difficult trends in fashion — mixing prints. If you’re intimidated by bright patterns, scroll through Sowlaty’s Insta for colorful inspiration.

Most of her posts are actually not outfit of the day pictures. But she captures anything and everything in her day-to-day life that fits her preppy aesthetic. Take the trendy interior decor Sowlatry photographs and translate it into a beautiful spring outfit.

•Thestyleograph

The Styleograph is a high fashion street style account. Many of the photos are taken before or after fashion shows or high fashion events. So as you can imagine, not all of the outfits are completely wearable. However, this account is great for discovering cool individual pieces that can be paired with something you already own.

It’s also an excellent source for styling inspiration because many of the photos posted capture the world’s most famous fashion girls. They put outfits together in a way that you probably would not have considered, but somehow, it works. Study the looks posted to this Instagram to determine what elements pull everything together to create cohesion. Imitate those elements in your own style for a standout look that really makes a statement.
