Beatshare: The New App that Makes Music the Message
Beatshare has just hit the shelves of the App Store and is here to allow its users to message their friends through music!
Beatshare is an app where users have the ability to pick any 10-second song clip from their Apple Music, Spotify, or SoundCloud account to express their thoughts, feelings, and/or emotions and send these creative messages to friends, individually or in groups, with a picture or video. Aizenstat and Lieberman have recently launched two products, Beatshare for iOS and Beatshare for iMessage. They are currently live and available in the Apple iOS and iMessage App Stores.
This new smartphone application was created by Eli Aizenstat and Barry Lieberman. They met at Chapman University and began working to enter Beatshare in the Chapman University Business Plan competition.
“We won!” said Aizenstat, “Afterwards, Beatshare went on to raise $1.4 Million from local Angel Groups, UCI, and Independent Investors. The funds are going towards product development, marketing, and user acquisition.”
Beatshare offers a way to communicate your thoughts and feelings that’s a lot more fun than the same old emoticons. Users can use hooks, drops, choruses, or particular lines in combination with photos and videos to make communicating with friends and family way more fun and innovative.
“It’s really fun to communicate this way,” said Lieberman, “We are in New York right now and I have sent numerous “Beats” to my family and friends and they love it.”
Users can access Beatshare by downloading it from the App Store. It’s completely free to use and with the use of your Apple Music, Spotify, or SoundCloud account, you’ll have access to over 100,000,000 songs!
“Music invokes an emotional response in people that other types of mediums can’t achieve. Adding this deeper level of emotion into mobile messaging creates a more expressive means of communication,” said Aizenstat, “Beatshare is looking to successfully bring music into messaging. From there, we will look to incorporate Music Video and other types of rich multimedia.”
