FSU Tailgate Outfit Must-haves
Every college student’s favorite time of year is finally here— Football season. Whether you are a football expert or just participate in game days because of the frat parties and hyped night life, almost everyone can find a way to join and show school spirit. I know my favorite part of football season is being able to put cute outfits together. Especially at FSU, tailgates are a chance to look your best, even when you are most likely going to be sweaty and disheveled an hour into it (thanks Florida weather). Also, shout out to FSU for blessing us with garnet and gold. It is difficult for an outfit to go wrong when our colors are so easy to wear. Here are some pieces of clothing and accessories that you can wear for this tailgate season.
1. Bodysuits
Bodysuits are everywhere lately, and for good reason. Just throw on some high waisted denim shorts, a necklace, and some booties and you are tailgate ready. Not only are they easy to pair with bottoms but they are extra flattering and a great alternative to cropped tops. They have the power to shape your waist and hide anything you don’t want showing.
2. High waisted denim shorts
This might go without saying, but high waisted denim shorts are the ultimate fashion essential for tailgate season. It is Florida, so don’t even think about wearing jeans out during the day. High waisted shorts go with pretty much anything, and flatter every body type.
3. White converse
High tops or low tops, any will do. It only takes a few days in Tallahassee to realize that every girl has white converse on with every outfit. That is because amazingly, they really pair well with almost anything, even sun dresses! T-shirt dresses are cheap and pair well with white converse. I recommend getting the leather ones, because they are easier to clean and you will see how much this pays off after spending one tailgate partying in Tallahassee.
4. Booties
Booties are perfect for FSU tailgates because they are essentially a low rise boot, which is perfect when it is technically Fall season but it is still as hot as the first days of July. They give off the Fall vibe without totally suffocating you in the blistering sun.
5. Morphe 35o eyeshadow palette
Everyone that knows anything about makeup has probably heard of this palette by now. It is incredibly cheap ($30), blends well and is highly pigmented. The colors range from gold to maroons and reds, which is coincidentally perfect for FSU girls. Aren’t you glad you don’t go to UF?
