Apple Products: Where Are The Ports?!

By Carelyn Tiburcio on February 28, 2016

I love Apple products.  I have an iPhone, an iPad, and a MacBook Pro. I mainly like having Apple products because of the convenience. For instance, all my devices are connected. I can text and answer calls on all devices. It’s probably one of the best things I like about having all Apple products.

Apple products keep improving. They are getting easier and faster in order for customers to buy them. The creators of the latest Apple products come up with new ideas pretty quickly. iPhones come out faster than you think.  They always come up with new features that tend to amaze people. The finger print to unlock the phone was a shock to the world. One of my favorite features on the iPhone 6s would have to be the 3D touch. It allows me to see inside messages, emails, and more without actually opening them.

One thing that I have noticed about Apple products is the fact that they keep getting thinner. They get bigger screens yet they get skinner.

Apple products are getting so thin that they’re getting rid of some ports. The latest MacBook only has one port. Yes, the latest  MacBook does not have any ports that we usualy use like the headphone jack or the HDMI cord. Owners of this MacBook must use an adapter in order to use those ports. They also must use wireless headphones.

There is a rumor going around that the next iPhone is going to be similar to this. People are worried that the next iPhone won’t have a headphone jack. Instead, it might be wireless. This could be something to get adjusted to, considering that Apple is getting thinner.

We may be heading towards a whole new wave of using Apple products. Apple has already helped us transition a bit into this wireless movement. For instance, Airdrop and Airpalay are both popular wireless Apple features.

We will have to start transitioning to thinner Apple products without ports? Will everything get thinner? Are we heading towards products that will be 100% wireless?
