5 Gifts Perfect For Business School Students

The holidays are sneaking up on you, and you only have a few more days to get that perfect gift for all the people on your list. If you have a business student on your list and don’t know what to get them, this article is for you.

1. Business cards

That business student of yours is going to be graduating soon, and what better gift than some snazzy business cards? This will help them hit the ground running after graduation, and will let you give a gift that keeps on giving.

You could either design one for them and make it very artsy and to what you think they would like, or you could give them a gift card so they could have their own cards made. This would be a great gift since it is something that they will definitely need.

You could first make a gag gift card with a card that is absolutely ridiculous, and make them freak out that you had a bunch of them printed (extra points for putting a bad pic of them on there), and then you can surprise them with the serious cards.

2. Coffee/tea tumbler

The business student in your life constantly needs to survive on some sort of caffeine, so why not get them something cute to hold it in? You could get them a custom made tumbler online, where you can add photos and other fun things that will make the tumbler really special. You could also get one that sparks a great memory between the two of you, so whenever they are working or in class, they will look at the tumbler and think of a good time.

This will be great for when they have their office job and they will have the coolest tumbler in the break room! You could also get them a matching coffee mug that they could have on their desk and will have their caffeine fix whenever they need it.

3. Fancy pen

You know those fancy pens that come in those felt boxes that everyone wants but they don’t want to spend the money on? You should get that for a business student. They can feel super fancy while they work, and they will look sophisticated to their clients.

Plus, it will give them something to play with when work is slow. You could maybe even get one that has a clock on the other end like in “Friends,” so they will always know the time when they are working.

4. Briefcase

Everyone knows that a business student isn’t complete without a nifty briefcase. Why not get them one as a grad gift or if you can squeeze it in, for the holidays?

A briefcase with nice aesthetics on the outside and tons of space on the inside are what you want to go for. Some even have secret compartments inside, which will make them feel like a spy, and we all know that we want to feel like a spy every once in a while. Whatever you pick, make sure that it isn’t too big/thick, since they will be carrying it around all the time.

If they are more of a computer savvy person, you could also opt for a nice computer bag that can sub as a briefcase so they will have all their work stuff in one place and be all ready to go.

5. Business clothing

Nice clothes are a luxury that not everyone can afford, and if you are a business major, appearance and presentation really matter when trying to close a deal with a client. Since clothes are on the pricey side and something that they will have to accumulate over the years, why not help them out?

You could gift them some nice ties, dress shirts, flattering blouses, pencil skirts, business-y heels that are cute but comfy, and so on. You can pick out a more casual outfit for the office, or something that will be ready for an intensive meeting. With clothes, you can’t really go wrong, but if you are nervous that you might not pick what they like, why not get them a gift card so they can pick out a business outfit for themselves? They would really appreciate it.

These are just a few ideas of gifts that would be perfect for a business major. You could always go in on the gift with other people so you can give your business person a lot of business-y things, so they will be all ready to go after graduation and will look really prepared.
