Miss Universe Controversy Turns Into Internet Meme

Sunday’s Miss Universe Pageant took an unexpected turn when host Steve Harvey mixed up the runner-up and winner of the night’s competition. He immediately retracted his declaration of Miss Colombia’s victory and apologetically announced Miss Philippines as the true victor.

Well, it’s okay, maybe “Family Feud” will get more viewership and people will actually pay attention to “Miss Universe” for the first time in like five years. In the end, this botched announcement was probably a great publicity move!
