The most wonderful time of the year is just one week away, and this is especially appealing to college students since we are on the brink of the most enviable of Christmas breaks. It’s not like previous grades where you would come back from vacation and have to pick up where you left off: the college winter break allows a for a time of total renewal. Classes are over, there are no readings to be completed to prepare for the next subject being covered. We. Are. Done.

That being said, the work put in was more than demanding. I need a drink, you need a drink, we all need drinks. I think it’s well-deserved.

So if you’re still in the Tallahassee area around or after finals, Madison Social is the perfect place for you to release any remaining tension from the semester. Social Barker Contest

In cohorts with Pet Paradise, you are invited to bring your dog(s) to their patio for a competition of the cutest! The pup with the most likes on a photo uploaded to Facebook will win! Check out the awesome prizes here! Pupsicles and Social Barker bandannas for your doge will also be available while supplies last!

Holiday Pub Crawl for Charity

Saturday, December 12^th, 5 p.m.

MadSo, Proof Brewing Company, BrassTap, and Grasslands Brewing Company are all teaming up to keep you buzzed and benevolent. Start at Madso and end at Proof with a beer included at each stop! All of the proceeds will benefit Guardian Ad Litem, PACE Center for Girls, and Last Hope Rescue.

Tickets are just $27 and includes a holiday mug hung on a fun holiday themed necklace. Bring an unwrapped toy (approximate value of $5 or more) to MadSo when registering and get an additional beer at Proof!

ALSO, don’t forget to dress up in your best elf or holiday attire, since there will be a costume contest held at Proof at 10 p.m.!
