This article is brought to you by Kaplan, the leader in test prep for over 90 standardized tests, including the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT.

Every aspiring doctor or nurse is very well aware of what the MCAT is. Also known as the Medical College Admission Test, the MCAT is a computer-based exam that tests a student’s physical and biological science skills to enter medical school.

Studying for these types of tests can sometimes be difficult when deciding what is important to study and carving out the time in your busy life to study.

Using apps on your smartphone to study is convenient and effective, so why not use them to study for the MCAT? These MCAT apps allow you to study anywhere, walking to class, waiting in line to get lunch or lying in bed.

Here are 8 apps for your iPhone and/or iPad to help prepare you for the MCAT exam and get you closer to achieving your dreams in the medical field.
