The Tallahassee Flea Market is located on Capital Circle S.E. just before Woodville Hwy. It is open every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. However, it is better to get there earlier, rather than later, because a lot of booths tend to start packing up their things around 4.

Unknown to many students around the Tallahassee area, the Tallahassee Flea Market is a wonderful place to go for a weekend adventure with friends. You never know what you area going to find at the flea market and it is always a pleasure to search through strangers’ belongings. You can find anything from vinyl records to household knickknacks.

What makes this adventure even more pleasurable is the fact that it is an open-air flea market. The booths are covered by an aluminum roof but, otherwise, completely open. This allows for a nice breeze to blow through the market, cooling the customers as they navigate the many booths.

For these special matinee showings, the price of the ticket is cut down to only two dollars.  That is not where the summer fun stops either. Movies 8 Tallahassee is also having their summer program, which shows a range of children’s movies at 10 AM every Tuesday and Thursday for only two dollars as well. A few of the movies included in the summer program are Zookeeper, Ice Age 2, and Penguins of Madagascar. More information about the summer program or daily show times can be found on their website.
