There is a surge of momentum going on for a candidate to represent Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate, one of the interesting elections that come this year. Marisa DeFranco, a lawyer, is looking to be the Democratic candidate for the election, taking on Elizabeth Warren, a consumer advocate recognized nationally. The winner of the Democratic primary in September in the state will take on the Republican incumbent Scott Brown in November.
