The state of Arizona has verified the birth certificate from Hawaii of President Obama, verifying that he can appear on the state’s election ballot in November. Questions arose by some citizens surrounding the legitimacy of his birth in the U.S. Ken Bennett, Arizona’s Republican Secretary of State (and as the Wall Street Journal notes, the co-chair of the campaign of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in the state), said the matter was now closed.
