Television networks are in a very difficult spot. With the wide variety of choices available for the consumer, networks are fighting for the viewer’s time, especially during the 7 to 10pm (or 8 to 11pm if you’re on the East or West Coast) hours of the day known as prime time television. It is difficult because a lot of the programs that premiere are usually cancelled by the network after a few episodes.

Some of the new programs which networks hope you will watch this fall include programs with Matthew Perry, Mindy Kaling and Connie Britton.

What do you think? Has prime time television gone to the dogs? Or is there hope in Fall 2012?
