Curve Your Cravings for Good!

By Kayla Belcher on April 14, 2014

Staying on track can be really hard when cravings and stressing over finals comes along. I know when I am feeling a little stressed, junk food is an easy scape goat. Constantly fighting cravings is awful! It can be very discouraging, and sometimes it may even seem overwhelming. What is the answer to all of our overeating? Here it is:

Carry small and healthy snacks with you throughout the day; this prevents the urge to overeat later.

Try these healthy, simple, and delicious snacks!

1. Frozen grapes

I swear by these. I am in LOVE with them. Frozen grapes are hydrating, sweet, and taste AMAZING! Seriously, they are worth a try. They could replace any unhealthy snack.

2. Greek yogurt + berries

Greek yogurt by itself is a treat, but when you add sweet and refreshing blueberries, nothing can beat it! Just add a handful on top, stir, and enjoy. For a frozen yogurt feel on these warm and sunny days, pop it into the freezer for 15 minutes.

3. Hershey Kisses (dark chocolate)

This helps with those persistent chocolate cravings (we all have them), but won’t ruin your progress. Keep a handful in your purse to pop in from time to time. Just be careful not to indulge too much.

4. Mints

This has been my go-to snack recently. Mints are so simple and tasty! My advice is to carry some with you at all times. Mints help curve cravings and settle stomach aches, as well as give you minty fresh breath.
