5 TV Shows You Should Stop Watching
Stop Watching: Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
Let’s face it, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is nowhere near as great as the original Once Upon a Time. The storylines probably would have been better explored in the actual Once Upon a Time and better developed. Ratings have been dismal and oh yeah, it’s actually already been cancelled. So you should stop…now.
Alternative: Teen Wolf

Teen Wolf is based off of the movie of the same name but by some miracle much better even though it’s on MTV. It has some of the supernatural elements that you love but with way better plot lines and characters that you can’t help but love.
It’s on Mondays at 10/9c on MTV.
Stop Watching: Glee
I think everyone was rooting for this show after the untimely death of Cory Monteith but just like Finn was the heart of the glee club of McKinley High, Cory was the heart of Glee and without him the show has a great gaping hole in the show that unfortunately cannot be filled. Awkwardly, the show has officially ended the glee club and moved to New York full time since they were locked into a six season contract before Cory’s death. Now it’s just time to wait out the regrettable season and a half that the show is still locked but it’s probably just easier to let it go.
Alternative: The Fosters
The Fosters is the story of an interracial lesbian couple raising a family of four foster children and one biological child. This show brings up all the same problems that Glee did such as sexuality, racism and bullying but without any of the random singing.
The summer premiere is Monday, June 16 at 9/8c on ABCFamily. You can catch up on Netflix.
Stop Watching: Revolution
Revolution started off as a great show with an interesting mystery in a post-apocalyptic plot line but after a while the fights are getting a little repetitive and at some point the lights just have to go on, don’t they?
Alternative: Under The Dome
Under the Dome is the story of a town that is mysteriously trapped inside a giant, transparent dome that cannot be destroyed. The town is riddled with mystery from the councilman who might be involved with the dropping of the dome to the teenagers who have seizures that are somehow controlled by the dome. The show is based off the Stephen King novels of the same name.
The second season premieres on Monday, June 30 at 10/9c on CBS. Until then you can catch up on exclusively on Amazon Instant Video.
Stop Watching: Hart of Dixie
It’s a miracle that this show even lasted so long. The plots are tired (even for the CW) and deserve to be put out of their misery. It’s so tired I don’t even know what else to say.
Alternative: New Girl
New Girl is the story of a hopeful and happy teacher Jessica Day who gets dumped and moves in with three boys who she finds on craigslist as a last option. The show catalogs their misadventures and hilarious lives, not to mention a little intra-apartment romance.
It’s on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Fox. Until then you can catch up on the first two seasons on Netflix.
Stop Watching: Pretty Little Liars
It’s just getting old. There cannot possibly be that many people trying to kill Alison! There’s also no reason why these girls should have been letting this go on for so long. You should have gone to the police the first episode or at least your parents. And please will A remember that he/she/they are most likely in high school and need to go to a therapist and get over their murderous rage against 5 high school girls?
Alternative: Revenge
Revenge is the story of Emily Thorne, a successful socialite with a dark secret. Her father was framed for a terrorist attack and killed in jail; she has dedicated her life to revenge against the family who set up her father and anyone else who gets in her way. It’s all the dark drama without any of the high school soap opera and pointless repetitive mystery.
It’s on Sundays at 10/9c on ABC with the first two seasons on Netflix.
