Fashionable Clothing for the Fall

Combat boots, Puffed Vests, Flannel – oh my! Is the lumberjack fashion coming back? (That is, if the lumberjack fashion was ever well, in fashion.) There is just something about a good solid pair of combat boots and flannel that have all of the fashion magazines, and lets not forget the young fashion forward females, all atwitter.?

As is evident in past fashions, keeping warm during the winter is only a second priority on the list. The first is always the question of fashionability. If it’s cute, then it’s in, even if you’re freezing your buns off. So, why is it that this particular Fall season, the lumberjack fashion is roaring back? Alongside Indian print leggings and what we now call boot socks. Evidently, it’s important for your socks to be seen, relative to simply being there to provide warmth and comfort.

Perhaps it really is the fact that they’re trying to stay one step ahead of the ever-changing fashion world. If you want to someday be a part of that world, you have to dress like it. That means wearing all of the name brand clothing: Gucci, Prada, Madden, etc. It gets you noticed, and it makes a statement. A statement that says even in 10-degree weather, where everyone is freezing to death and trying to stay warm, you manage to do that and look fabulous.

Well, what about all of the people that don’t care about the fashion world? They just love the styles that are currently in for Fall fashion. They love combat boots and they think flannel is warm and functional. What about these people? Perhaps we should expand our minds and try to understand the varying fashion trends as a whole.

Perhaps flannel isn’t your style, but you have to admit that it’s a lot better than leg warmers, or bell-bottoms, or high necked blouses with little to no breathing room. The fashion changes all the time, and maybe it is finally time to saddle along with it.

For, it could always be worse, and the combat boots aren’t usually true combat boots with steel toes. The flannel is now being form fitted, for girls of all shapes and sizes. The vests don’t only come in hideous orange anymore, but cream and wine and mint. The Indian print leggings are usually paired with solid covered everything else, and they look pretty adorable paired with an oversized sweater and some boots.

Regardless of what your fashion decisions are this Fall, the most important thing is always to stay warm. However, it doesn’t hurt to look outstanding doing it.
