Lauren Deane started her post-high school education at Weber State University as a scholarship member of the Women's Basketball team. She played for the Wildcats for two years and moved to Calgary, Alberta in Canada to continue playing basketball and her education. After a year in Calgary, she moved back to Utah to finish her schooling and is expected to graduate from the University of Utah in 2013. She strives to become a televised journalist as her future career. She also loves to write, so becoming a print journalist would be an ideal career as well.
