Top 5 Spoofs of Christmas Carols
Tired of listening to the same christmas carols over and over again? Here are the Top 5 Spoofs of Christmas Carols that will bring even more laughs this holiday season!
Walking Round In Women’s Underwear This song is pretty hilarious because it really has nothing to do with Christmas. It is a parody of the christmas carol “Winter Wonderland” and is all about a man walking around in his wife’s underwear while she’s gone. Wives, you’ve been warned about this new christmas trend!
12 Days of Christmas (Indian Version) As an Indian, I find nothing funnier than another person’s Indian accent. For that reason, this song is probably the most played song in my house during Christmas. It describes all the stereotypical Indian things including the telemarketers, butter chicken, and of course, a totally insufficient dowry. And I haven’t even mentioned the best parts! It’s so politically incorrect, it’s fabulous.
Another Christmas Song Just because it’s Stephen Colbert in a red turtle-neck and a cardigan–and he shimmies at the end!
Out on Bail Now there are a lot of Jingle Bells parodies, but this is a song that is simply ridiculous in its efforts to sound like a legitimate rap song. This song is all about this guy trying to get out of jail in time for Christmas. And the album is called Ghetto Christmas Carols, need I say more?
Rudolph Goes to Rehab Alright, so I broke the rules and this song isn’t really a parody of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Instead, it is about Rudolph’s struggle with fame as a child star due to the release of the famous Christmas carol. Rudolph rewrites the words of “Rehab” by Amy Winehouse to explain how Santa made him go to rehab. So I guess the song makes fun of Rudolph, child stars and the original song by Amy Winehouse.
