Things to Appreciate Before Autumn Ends
Ever since Halloween ended, I have been hearing Christmas music blasting in peoples’ headphones. It’s crazy how we just jump into the next holiday season. Besides Halloween, there’s so much to treasure during the fall. Before we jump into that winter season, let’s focus on all the beauty that autumn has to bring.
Autumn definitely has the prettiest colors out of all the seasons. Dark red, purple, and orange just go so beautifully together. Depending on where you live, you can see the leaves change into majestic colors. Decorating your apartment with these colors can liven up your place and give it a cozy feel.
The weather during autumn is something that I definitely have to point out. The weather is in that stage of “not too hot” and “not too cold.” I’m not sweating and I’m certainly not freezing to death. Autumn makes sure to find that perfect balance.
This type of weather just calls for cute outfits. I honestly refer to autumn as “cardigan season.” It’s that time of the year to wear comfy sweaters, leggings, and adorable accessories. Also, dark red and dark purple lipstick just scream out at me when this season comes around.
All those pretty colors and outfits will just compliment all your Instagram pictures. I know that many people (including myself) take advantage of taking “artsy” pictures near pumpkin patches and leaves on the ground. So before you decide to skip autumn, just remember that this is the season where your likes and followers are sure to rise.
Let’s not forget to mention that stores, bakeries, and restaurants all have that one pumpkin item on the menu that you just adore. There’s pumpkin pie, pumpkin lattes, pumpkin bread, and even pumpkin cookies! The pumpkin possibilities are endless during this time!
There’s so many more things that come along with autumn. But besides that, there’s something else that’s a bit more important than all of the items mentioned above. I know that Halloween apparently marks the end of fall, but it’s not. Theres one more holiday to celebrate and that’s Thanksgiving. Whether you hate it or don’t even believe that it’s a holiday that deserves to be celebrated, just give thanks. It’s good to have a moment in the year where you spend time with your loved ones and just say all that you’re thankful for. It’s the perfect time to reflect on everything.
With that being said, I hope you take advantage of these next couple of weeks in November. Happy fall!
