Jewelry Trends To Rock This Spring
Spring is here and I know college students could not be more excited: spring break, sunglasses, short-sleeves, flip-flops, bright colors and of course, new jewelry!
Although some students cannot afford to keep up with the new jewelry trends since they are on that college student budget, there are stores like Charming Charlie that always have low prices and the latest trends.
Here are some 2016 spring jewelry trends.
(All of these pieces of jewelry can be found at CharmingCharlie.com for under $20.)
Tassel Necklaces
Tassel jewelry is probably this year’s most popular new trend, and you can see why. They are simple enough to not be too flashy, but still a good accessory for adding that extra something to any outfit. The tassel necklace above has a touch of beads added to it as well, which complement the tassel perfectly. This teal color just screams spring. Perfect match to teal Capri pants and a white blouse!
Tear Drop Earrings
Tear drop dangling earrings are becoming a trend this year as well. These tear drop earrings from Charming Charlie come in various colors that are perfect for spring. The red tear drops above give that extra sass to any kind of outfit, whether it does not have much color or has a lot. They would go well with white Capri pants or shorts and a multicolored blouse (that of course contains red).
Infinity Tennis Bracelets
Bracelets are also very trendy this spring, especially this gorgeous tennis bracelet in gold. If you’re not a gold person, don’t worry because it comes in silver also! This is a great piece of jewelry to wear when you are dressing up a bit, as the mini pearls really add a sense of class to the bracelet.
Small and Simple Rings
Rings are always in style, but dainty rings are so in style right now. You can stack a few rings together to add extra color or bling to any spring outfit. This adorable bow ring also comes in silver and is possibly the cutest ring you’ve ever seen!
Stacked Beaded Bracelets
Stacking any type of bracelets has been in style lately, but this particular Charming Charlie bracelet does the work for you since it’s already stacked! The turquoise stones added to this gold bracelet really adds a spring sense to it as well. This would go great with a pair of black or white shorts and a turquoise blouse or tank top.
Double-Leaf Earrings
If you want to be stylish without trying too hard, these earrings are for you. You can wear these cute double leaf earrings with almost any spring outfit and look awesome! This Charming Charlie pair comes in rose gold (above), gold and silver, so no mater what your preference is you’ll always have your pick.
Ombre Beaded Necklaces
Layered necklaces are also a popular trend right now. They add some “pop” to any plain outfit. This ombre beaded layered necklace is great for when you are wearing just black and/or white and need some color and style. The necklace above would be a perfect piece to show off this St. Patty’s Day (Thursday, March 17)!
Geneva Pave Rings
This particular ring is great because it looks like you stacked two rings together on your finger. The pointed arrow style is also neat because it is different than the classic round and simple rings. This ring comes in a variety of colors and could potentially match every one of your cute spring outfits, or you can just go with a neutral color like in the picture above, so it will match the majority of your clothes.
Nude Chevron Watches
Sometimes, even in the spring time, nude is the way to go. Nude colors are very in right now and this watch just says it all. This nude watch would look perfect with a white and light pink outfit. You don’t need a heavy necklace or a bunch of rings all the time; sometimes all an outfit needs is a watch. The chevron design with the gold in this Charming Charlie watch (also available in bright yellow) is to die for, adding just the right amount of bling. Plus, it will go with almost everything!
Cluster Earrings
These earrings are simple and elegant, so if you need a little something, these are the pieces of jewelry to turn to. Since these are clusters, they say a little more than the typical studs — just enough to not stand out too much. They are available in silver as well.
