5 of Donald Trump's Worst Tweets
Leave it to Donald Trump, the presidential embodiment of your crazy conservative Aunt, to tweet some of the most messed up opinions of any human operating Twitter. He tweets the shameful thoughts people think would be better kept locked away in their heads.
He just whips out his phone and lets ‘em rip.
Here are a few of Donald Trump’s worst social media blurbs.
1) Paris and Gun Control
To top the list is his worst offense. After this year’s Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris, Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of tweets that aimed to spin the appalling event for his own selfish gain.
Donald Trump acquires support through fear-mongering and self-promotion as opposed to actual concrete plans and strategies. Urging people to cling to their guns, instead of each other for support, is the worst way to handle a modern crime against humanity.
2) Ebola
Last year during the Ebola craze, many xenophobic sentiments were distributed through social media. Donald Trump let his unfounded fears be known, and began to claim that American citizens risking their lives in foreign countries should be left there to suffer “the consequences.”
This shows a blatant disregard for his fellow Americans and for humanitarian efforts that make actual change in the face of disease.
3) Obama
Wow. This tweet diminishes the great strides Obama has made for people of color, and Americans. He opened the doors for a more diverse “White House” and I think that because of him we can start to see more representative demographics take office in the years to come.
You would never hear somebody say, “Oh thanks to Bush a white man will never be president again!” This would be the perfect time to use the new middle finger emoji.
4) Mexico’s #1 Hater Goes to …
This tweet isn’t so surprising coming from a man who aims to deport millions of people who work every day to make this country a better place. With people like this having the money and power in society, our country’s most vulnerable members could have what they’ve striven for taken away instantly. The elitism, and struggle, are so real.
5) Kstew and Rpat
This is something that a middle school girl, or probably me, would say. C’mon now DJ Trump, we all know that you want Robert for yourself. But guess what? You can’t have him, because he’s already mine.
